You know that thing where you believe you are doing a good job of parenting because you remember early in the morning to schedule a doctor’s appointment for your oldest son to get a strep test because that is when they release the same-day appointments, but when you go to take him to the appointment, they tell you that while you did actually select the next available time, you actually scheduled one for tomorrow and you have to admit defeat and text your wife and partner who miraculously finds a same-day appointment that not even the receptionist was able to book for later that day. Yeah, when that happens just thank your wife for her logistical super power and take your son at the corrected appointment time. While you have no idea how she does it, you bow to her ability to make things happen in the face of incomprehensible systems that baffle you regularly.
